Welcome Week is the official kick-off to the academic year at North Carolina A&T State University, featuring events to get you ready for an amazing year. Welcome Week is designed to create a meaningful experience for you that will:
- Begin to build a sense of community
- Assist you in adjusting to the learning environment
- Provide you an opportunity to have and maintain meaningful relationships with students
- Allow you to navigate the campus while discovering and accessing the multitude of resources.

New Student Induction/Pinning (11 AM to 2 PM)
- All new students—first year and transfer—are invited to take part in this signature Welcome Week tradition! Join us in Corbett from 11AM-2PM for the official New Student Induction Ceremony, where you'll be formally welcomed into the Aggie family. Be sure to wear a white button-up shirt/blouse and black dress bottoms—right after the ceremony, we’ll head outside to take the official new student class photo. This is a milestone moment you won’t want to miss as you begin your journey at the illustrious!
