At North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, we are committed to fulfilling our mission as a 1890 land-grant doctoral, high-research institution to advance the human condition and drive economic growth in North Carolina and beyond. The Office of Employee Engagement & Success (OEES) was established to ensure that every member of our workforce, faculty, staff, and student workers feels empowered, valued, and aligned with the university’s mission. By prioritizing communication and collaboration, assessment, evaluation, and continuous improvement, recognition and success, and accountability and transparency, we aim to foster a workplace culture where every individual can thrive and contribute meaningfully to NC A&T’s goals.

  

OUR PRIORITIES

The success of our workforce and organization is built upon the following priorities:

Communication and Collaboration. We strengthen internal communication channels, foster meaningful partnerships, and encourage collaboration across all levels to ensure transparency and alignment with our mission.

Assessment, Evaluation, and Continuous Improvement. Using data-driven insights from surveys, feedback tools, and performance metrics, we continuously evaluate and enhance programs, processes, and the overall employee experience.

Recognition and Success. We celebrate individual and team achievements, aligning personal accomplishments with the university’s mission to foster pride, motivation, and excellence.

Accountability and Transparency. We promote a culture of ownership and responsibility, ensuring clear expectations, measurable progress, and shared accountability in achieving institutional goals.
