Information for Families

Parents are valued at Aggie Academy. We believe that excellence in education and successful learning are achieved by our teachers, administrators, parents and community members working together.

Parents' Bill of Rights

Recently, our state legislators passed the Parents’ Bill of Rights. This information outlines key points that parents should reference when understanding the partnership between school and home. Questions, comments, or concerns should be placed to Principal Janel Harris-Hamiel (jnharri3@ncat.edu) or to the Program Director, Dr. Johnette McCain (jmccain1@ncat.edu).

Aggie Academy Hours of Operation

Aggie Academy's morning drop off line begins promptly at 7:00 am. Classes start at 7:20 am and scholars are marked tardy after this time. Dismissal is at 2:10 pm. Afterschool hours begin at 2:15 pm and ends at 6:00 pm

Volunteer Opportunities

Aggie Academy is excited to welcome volunteers to encourage our Jr. Aggie Scholars in reaching their potential. All volunteers must complete our Volunteer Registration Form and receive approval from the volunteer background check system. Once approved, Aggie Academy staff will contact interested volunteers to see which opportunities best meet their needs. We have volunteer opportunities from 2:00pm – 6:00pm during our Afterschool Program.
