Update on Student Blue Insurance Waive & Enroll Portal
As of May 1st, the Student Blue portal for Waive & Enroll has not yet opened. We are actively monitoring for updates and will share information as soon as the portal becomes available.

The Alvin V. Blount Jr. Student Health Center is “in network” with 96% of the insurance carriers of all registered and incoming students at NC A&T State University. So, we accept nearly all health insurances utilized by A&T students.
Though you may already have health insurance coverage, most students are automatically charged for Blue Cross Blue Shield – Student Blue insurance when they register. Therefore, if you do not require Student Blue coverage, you must go online and waive out of this automatic policy. Once you have completed the waive-out process, you will be reimbursed the cost of the Student Blue policy.
For students who arrive without health insurance of their own or through their parents, Blue Cross Blue Shield – Student Blue insurance is available. Students enrolling for the academic school year, please visit Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC) to find more information about Student Blue or the waive–out process.
