Minimum Requirements
• Computer: A laptop or 2-in-1 tablet with specifications meeting the minimum requirements listed above.• Warranty: 3 year onsite with accidental damage coverage (recommended 4 years)
• Software: Every registered student will receive access to Microsoft Office 365 with access to Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Numerous engineering applications are available free of charge.
• Backup: Any backup solution is acceptable. Space is provided for all students on Google Drive.
• Apple MacBooks: Students pursuing an engineering degree may prefer an Apple computer such as an iMac or MacBook Pro having an OS X operating system. However, some of the software available to engineering students is not directly compatible with OS X additionally a lesser number of Engineering applications are available to Apple users.
