Fall Convocation at N.C. A&T State University is a signature annual event that officially marks the beginning of the academic year, bringing together students, faculty, staff, and alumni to celebrate the university’s legacy, achievements, and commitment to academic excellence.

Spring Convocation
 

​The Student Honors Convocation at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University is an annual event that celebrates undergraduate students who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievements. The ceremony includes the presentation of two prestigious awards:​

• The University Award for Academic Excellence: This honor is awarded to a senior undergraduate student with a perfect 4.00 GPA, recognizing their integration of academic excellence with leadership, community service, arts, athletics, and career achievements. ​

• The Chancellor’s Award for Academic Excellence: This award honors an undergraduate student with a minimum 3.75 GPA who has demonstrated academic excellence alongside leadership, community service, arts, athletics, and career achievements. ​

The Student Honos Convocation also acknowledges students with GPAs of 3.25 and higher, highlighting their dedication and hard work.
