ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

A bachelor’s degree or graduate degree must be earned from a regionally accredited institution in the United States by July 15th of the year of matriculation to the PA program 
*No specific major of discipline is required. 

While reasonable accommodations will be made for students with disabilities, they must still meet the essential functions and Technical Standards set forth by the program. 

All applications submitted through CASPA will be reviewed by the Director of Admissions to ensure they meet the minimum criteria. Applications will then be assigned to program faculty and the Admissions Committee for review. They will be scored and ranked using the following criteria: 

  • Cumulative GPA 
  • Science GPA 
  • The Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
  • Letters of Recommendation 
  • Direct Patient Care Experience
  • Personal Statement 
  • Responses to CASPA Supplemental Questions that demonstrate a commitment to serving the underserved, a commitment to self-reflection, courage under challenging circumstances and GRIT.
