N.C. A&T to Offer Harlem Brews at Home Games
EAST GREENSBORO, N.C. (Aug. 28, 2019) – North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University has announced a partnership with Harlem Beer Distributing NC and Harlem Brewing Company (Harlem Brew South) that will feature its beers at all home games.
Harlem Beer Distributing NC previously worked with students in the Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management to develop a national distribution channel.
“It’s inspiring to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the world as we tap into their supply chain expertise to expand our business model,” said Jamel Lynch, CEO of Harlem Beer Distributing NC.
In addition, Harlem Brewing Company met with University Advancement to explore opportunities in the craft beer industry including fermentation sciences, agriculture and entrepreneurship.
“We are excited to offer our beers at Aggie games and ecstatic to partner with such a prestigious university,” said Celeste Beatty, founder of Harlem Brewing Company. “They are great leaders nationally and it's awesome to work with them on such groundbreaking initiatives.”
The partnership between N.C. A&T, Harlem Beer Distributing and Harlem Brewing Company also supports “brewternships,” agricultural initiatives that study hops and hemp, brewery and taproom operations, manufacturing, logistics and supply chain management. A special Pints with a Purpose program will support university fundraising efforts.
