N.C. A&T Online MBA Program Ranks Among State’s Top Five
EAST GREENSBORO, N.C. (Nov. 11, 2019) – North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University’s Online MBA Program is ranked among the top five in the state, according to the Best Online MBA Programs in North Carolina for 2019 list compiled by College Consensus.
“The business school at North Carolina A&T State University holds the distinction of being accredited by the prestigious Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International,” College Consensus said. “This accreditation gives students confidence that the Deese College of Business and Economics is delivering the highest level of business education.”
N.C. A&T offers its MBA program through the Willie A. Deese College of Business and Economics (CoBE) in one of four concentrations – accounting, human resource management, supply chain management and general MBA. The latter three are also offered via the university’s online MBA program. All courses are taught by extensively experienced, faculty and business executives who bring a wealth of current industry knowledge and expertise to students.
“I am very pleased that our online MBA program has been ranked No. 3 again this year in the Best Online MBA Programs in North Carolina for 2019,” said Dr. Eric Gladney, COBE associate dean and MBA director. “Each year we seek to build a class of students who can engage collaboratively as a community of learners towards excellence in research, scholarship, creative expression and community engagement. We are very proud of our students' accomplishments and remain committed to structuring and offering a professional graduate business degree that provides them with a thorough understanding of the core business essentials followed by an intensive study in their chosen business concentration.”
College Consensus ranked N.C. A&T’s online MBA program among the best in the nation in its 25 Best Value Online MBA Programs 2019 list. The university also was ranked in the College Consensus 25 Most Affordable Online MBA Programs 2019 list.
For its latest list, College Consensus researched and ranked more than 570 online MBA programs based on their location in North Carolina, their affordability, reputation and convenience. It used data drawn from U.S. News & World Report, The Economist, Bloomberg Businessweek and the institutions’ own published information.
In placing A&T at the No. 3 spot on this list, College Consensus noted “some excellent features of this program include a GMAT test score waiver for qualifying applicants, a 100% online format which allows students to complete assignments from anywhere they can find internet access, and an attractive tuition rate of less than $10,000. This 36-credit hour online MBA is the second-most affordable program within this ranking of the top distance programs in North Carolina.”
COBE has been accredited by AACSB-International since 1979, when it became the first university in the Piedmont-Triad area to earn the prestigious AACSB International stamp of quality. Its Human Resource Management concentration is certified by the Society of Human Resources Management.
Earlier this year, Online MBA Today ranked N.C. A&T’s Online MBA Program as No. 1 in its Top 50 Best Value Online MBA Programs 2019 and No. 29 among its Top 50 Online MBA Programs 2019.
